Erin McLaughlin and Susan Pierson applied for the grant in an effort to bring together in-service and pre-service teachers with students in business. Twelve Cabrini Education and Business students will collaborate with Project Zambia (PZ), whose work focuses on improving the lives of Zambia's poor, and Vision of Hope, an NGO that works with young women and girls to provide education and skills. Cabrini students will gain a first-hand look at some of the educational and financial issues facing modern-day Zambia and the instrumental work of non-profit agencies in working with the local population to address these issues.
