Joseph M. Smith, PhD
Associate Professor, Chemisty
Joseph M. Smith, PhD, believes an open mind in the classroom can make all the difference in the quality of the education his students receive.
Since he came to Cabrini in 1997, he's worked to fuse the philosophy of the University with the analytical practices of chemisty.
His research and academic interests include the synthesis and study of strained molecules.
Smith earned a doctoral degree in organic chemistry from the University of Washington in Seattle and a bachelor’s in chemistry from the State University of New York at Oswego.
