Carly Kearney, MSN, RN Named 2022-2023 Jonas Scholar

Carly Kearney, MSN, RN (PhD candidate), Nursing Program Development Coordinator, was recently named a 2022-2023 Jonas Scholar by the National League for Nursing (NLN). The NLN Jonas Scholars Program, currently in the 12th cohort, assists doctoral students whose dissertation research aligns with the NLN's core goal - Advancement of the Science of Nursing Education: Promote evidence-based nursing education and the scholarship of teaching. The NLN Jonas Scholars Program supports students in the final year of their dissertation studies through faculty mentorship, peer-to-peer engagement, and funding for dissertation and travel expenses.

Jennifer (Specht) Frey, PhD, RN, has more than 15 years of academic nursing education experience, as well as nursing leadership and administrative experience. Virtual Dissection Table Magnifies Health Science Education at Cabrini  10/21/19

An Anatomage Table—a life-sized, interactive dissection device—will support the Nursing Program by enhancing Cabrini’s anatomy and physiology curriculum. Made possible with a $100,000 Grant from the George I. Alden Trust, the table’s installation will coincide with Cabrini’s first class of Nursing students in the fall 2020 semester.
