Kyle Raczynski, BS, MSN, RN
Professor of Practice in Nursing
Kyle Raczynski, BS, MSN, RN has over five years of clinical nursing experience, and as a nurse educator, has served as both clinical and classroom faculty. Professor Raczynski has shared his expertise related to his diverse clinical experience in courses such as Nursing Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing at Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. His clinical practice has focused on a wide variety of Mental Health Nursing specialties, including caring for populations such as children and adolescents, women who have experienced trauma, those suffering from acute mental illness and/or dual diagnoses, and those affected by substance abuse disorder. He also has expertise in Medical-Surgical Nursing, specifically cardiac and perioperative nursing.
A second-degree nurse, Professor Raczynski has an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from LaSalle University. He previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry before starting his career as a nurse. Professor Raczynski has earned a Diploma in Nursing from Roxborough Hospital School of Nursing and continued his education, receiving both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on nursing education from American Sentinel University.
During his clinical nursing career, he was a 2019 nominee and the winner of the Daisy Award for Excellence in Patient Care and was a nominee for the Nightingale Award of Pennsylvania for Excellence as a Clinical Practice RN. Through many roles, both at the bedside and as a formal educator, Professor Raczynski has a passion for teaching nursing and enjoys creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students. He endeavors to instill in students the confidence to serve as patient advocates throughout their nursing journey.
