Sports Science Track

The Exercise Science & Health Promotion major is science-based and provides students with training for careers that follow the present and future trends for health awareness and wellness.

The Sports Science track prepares the student for careers in various allied health professions and provides a natural gateway to post‑graduate studies in such disciplines as Physical Therapy, Nursing, Cardiac Rehab, Physicians Assistant, Exercise Physiology, and Sports Science.

Total for ESH Major with Sports Science Track: 66 credits

ESH majors must take BIO 101 (4 credits) along with any other science course that fulfills their Scientific literacy requirements for the Core.

*To be eligible for an off-campus internship in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, students must have a 2.5 minimum GPA in the major.
