The Department of Health and Exercise Sciences is home to three bachelor of science degrees which will help prepare graduates with the skills needed to help others improve quality of life.  Graduates will have many career options to choose from including health care, nutrition education, fitness, sports performance, rehabilitation, older adult wellness and community health.

Graduates from these programs may also choose to apply for a variety of advanced degrees that include physical and occupational therapy, exercise physiology, public health, nutrition, physician assistant, and exercise science.

Students may major in:

  • Exercise Science and Health Promotion
  • Health Science
  • Public Health

The US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics “predicts employment in health care occupations will grow 19% over the next ten years, faster than the average for all occupations, adding about 2.3 million new jobs.”

Curriculum and other major information can be found for each degree by clicking on the link to the left.

As with all departments at Cabrini, the majority of classes have only 10-20 students, allowing for concentrated faculty-student interaction and guidance.
