Leadership Opportunities

Whether it’s finding your collegiate niche or developing your future leadership potential, Cabrini’s leadership opportunities produce effective leaders, capable of affecting positive changes on society.

Students looking to develop strong leadership abilities can join any of the following leadership opportunities.

Students in the LEADStrong Program discover leadership abilities, hone special skills, and gain an edge on the competition in the workplace.

In addition to the LEADStrong Program, Cabrini offers a certificate, a minor, a master’s degree, and a doctorate.

Campus Activities and Programming (CAP) Board is the main programming board on campus and brings social, cultural, and educational programs and events to campus.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS), one of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations, partners with Cabrini to train student leaders interested in raising campus awareness about issues that impact the poor around the world.

During New Student Orientation, upperclass students welcome incoming students to campus through group discussions and programs that share important information about Cabrini.

First-year students participate in Living and Learning Communities (LLCs), sharing the same residence hall and classes while exploring a specific theme. Upperclass students serve as LLC Master Learners, guiding each new class of students.

A position as a Resident Assistant (RA) is designed for the leader who wants to make a contribution to the community in which they live. RAs are responsible for directing the programming and community enhancement of a wing, floor, area, or house on campus.

When prospective students and their families first arrive on campus, the first person they meet is a Student Ambassador. Students in this leadership role give campus tours and assist Admissions staff.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official voice of the student body, representing issues of concern and importance to Cabrini students with faculty and administration, as well as overseeing student organizations.
