Delta Epsilon Sigma
Delta Epsilon Sigma is a national scholastic honor society for students, faculty, and alumni of colleges and universities with a Catholic tradition.
It was founded in 1939 to recognize academic accomplishments, foster scholarly activities, and encourage a sense of intellectual community among its members.
National recognition is accorded through the college or university chapter.
More than one hundred colleges and universities have received charters to establish chapters of Delta Epsilon Sigma.

The seal of this Society bears the Greek letters, Chi Rho, the first two letters of the word Christ, and a lamp which reminds us of the light which shines in the darkness of an unbelieving world.
Cabrini’s Chapter
Delta Xi is the Cabrini University chapter of Delta Epsilon Sigma. The group seeks leaders who live by Cabrini’s core values: Respect, Vision, Community, and Dedication to Excellence.
Ideal candidates for Delta Epsilon Sigma have sought Mother Cabrini’s ideal of an “Education of the Heart”—a Catholic, Cabrinian education centered in Christ and ever mindful of the dignity and contribution of each person.
Our goal is to create a society based on scholarship and a commitment to social justice.
Candidates for induction into Delta Epsilon Sigma must have a record of outstanding academic accomplishment, have shown dedication to intellectual activity, and have accepted their responsibility of service to others.
Undergraduate candidates must have completed at least 50 percent of the credit requirements for their baccalaureate degrees, and rank in the top 20 percent of their class.
