Commencement 2022 FAQs
How will Commencement be held this year?
Three physically distanced graduation ceremonies will be held at separate times under a tent on the Upper Athletic Field on Sunday, May 22, rain or shine. (Please wear appropriate footgear.)
- 9am- School of Business and Professional Studies
- 11:30am- School of Education
- 2pm- School of Arts and Sciences
Will students be able to change the time of their ceremony?
No, we are unable to honor any requests to change the time of your ceremony. The three graduation ceremonies will be held throughout the day at different times for each of Cabrini’s Schools to accommodate our graduates and their guests.
How many guests may graduates bring to their ceremony?
Each senior will reserve five specific seats (one for the graduating student and four guests) under the tent through a link that will be sent from Eventbrite. Each graduate will sit under the tent with their guests. Each guest requires a ticket, including children and infants. No strollers will be permitted in the tent. There will be no standing room under the tent, nor will guests be allowed to stand outside the tent with no tickets.
To enter campus on May 22, each person must show their valid Eventbrite ticket.
For those who cannot attend the event in person, a livestream of each ceremony will be available to view in real-time on the University’s Youtube page.
What COVID-19 safety measures will be in place?
Commencement has been planned to accommodate the maximum number of attendees, with an equal number of guests for each student, keeping the safety of all graduates, guests, faculty, and staff as the utmost priority. The seats for each graduate and their four guests will be sanitized between each ceremony and separated from other graduates and guests by six feet of physical distance.
How will I receive my tickets?
Seniors and graduate students will receive an email with the Eventbrite link to reserve tickets (five tickets in total, for the graduating student and four guests). Tickets must be ordered no later than Friday, May 13.
Can I get extra tickets?
There will be no extra tickets issued for the 2022 Commencement. The graduate will register for five tickets (one for the graduating student and four guests), whether the tickets will be used or not.
Can you accommodate attendees with disabilities?

If you would like reasonable accommodations for this event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org by May 2. If you need handicapped parking, please have your hang tag visible. If you don't have a hang tag, please email email@example.com. Guests must display the parking placard to park in the designated handicapped spaces located in the Dixon Center parking lot.
