Full Text

The complete electronic text of an article is called the full text. Some databases, like PsycARTICLES and Business Source Premier, provide entire articles online. Indexes that offer full text articles will have this symbol next to them:

What if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?

Some databases provide articles in two formats: HTML and PDF full text. The PDF full text includes the article plus any graphs, charts, pictures and text. HTML full text includes the content of the article without its originally formatting or graphics. JSTOR is a database of PDF documents.
