How to Connect to CabriniGuest

The Cabrini Guest Network is for the convenience of visitors and guests. The Guest Network offers basic web browsing and is limited to services that are publicly available.

Configuring Devices to Use CabriniGuest

Cabrini College community members should connect to Eduroam, the guest network is not intended for long-term or extended use. See Cabrini Guest Restrictions below for more details.

Connecting to CabriniGuest:

    Please Note: These instructions may be slightly different depending on your wireless device (laptop, phone, tablet, etc)

  1. Select and connect to the "cabriniguest" network from your list of currently available networks.
  2. Select cabriniguest from your list of currently available networks

  3. Open any internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc), if you do not see the following screen, browse to any website (google.com, yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov, etc)
  4. This page welcomes you to the Cabrini Guest network, and asks that you log in with an email address.

  5. Enter your email address, and click "Log In"
  6. If you receive an error, click "Proceed", "Continue", or navigate to any website.
  7. You should now be connected to the internet.
  8. This page welcomes you to the Cabrini Guest network, and asks that you log in with an email address.

Cabrini Guest Restrictions

  • Cabrini Guest network is not part of the official Cabrini network, you will not have access to any service that requires the Cabrini domain.
  • Guest network users will be required to authenticate each time they connect and after 8 hours of continuous use.
  • Access is controlled by OpenDNS.
  • Bandwidth restrictions: 3mb download / 1mb upload.
  • All outgoing ports are blocked except: TCP 80, 443, 8000, 8080; UDP 67, 4500, 1701, 500, 68 to OpenDNS only; ICMP.
