Because of the nature of the Windows NT file system,
there is a proper way to save files to your web folder on your H:\ Drive.
Users can not save files that they plan to load to their H:\Web folder
directly to their H:\ drive. The file you are going to send to your
Web folder can not be in the same volume (drive) as the web folder as in.
To correct this, you must save locally the file you plan to upload.
The below tutorial will demonstrate this first using Drag-and-Drop and
second with WebCT.1) Save the File to the
desktop or similar folder, as long as it is on the C:\ Drive, or your
default local Hard drive

2) Drag the file from the source on your computer
to your web folder to finish the upload using Drag and Drop.

3) Your file should be in your web folder, able to
be viewed online.
Using WinSCP, you can perform a similar action
when you are off campus and not connected to the Cabrini network. WinSCP
uses SFTP to transfer your file online.
1) After saving your file to the desktop,
open WinSCP and connect to username@pages.cabrini.edu

2) Drag the file you saved to the local
location to your web folder in WinSCP

3) You should be able to now view the file
you uploaded from the internet.
These two methods are the only correct ways to
upload files to your web folder. The main point to avoid is not to
save the file you plan to upload to your H:\ Drive.
