Outlook Express 6 Tutorial
  1. Open Outlook Express from the menu. If you would like to use Outlook Express as your default email client or program click Yes. If not click No.


  2. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.


  3. In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add. Then select Mail...


  4. In the Display name field input your name as you wish it seen by your mail recipients. Click Next.


  5. Input your e-mail address. Click Next.


  6. Fill in the appropriate fields identically as shown below. Click Next.


  7. Fill in your "username+cabrini.edu" (no quotes). Click "Remember Password" so you don't have to, and fill in your password. Click Next.


  8. Click Finish to end the Setup Wizard even though the setup process for your email account is not yet complete.


  9. Highlight the account you just created and click on Properties.


  10. Click on the Servers tab and towards the bottom, enable "My server requires authentication" under Outgoing Mail Server and click Settings.


  11. Select "Log on using" and enter your username, select "Remember password" and enter your password. Note that you do not use the "+cabrini.edu" designation for setting up your outgoing mail server. Click OK to this and all of the remaining boxes and you are finished this tutorial and ready to start using your email client.
