Microsoft Outlook Setup for CabriniOne Email and IMAP Users
  1. Click the Start Menu and select Control Panel.
  2. For "View by" in the top right corner, choose "Classic View" or "Large Icons."
  3. Select the "Mail" icon.
  4. Click on the "E-mail Accounts" button.
  5. Choose "New…"
  6. Select the option to "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and proceed to the next window.
  7. To configure your Cabrini E-mail account for IMAP, select "Internet E-mail" and hit next.
  8. Enter in your Internet E-mail Settings:

    User Information
    Your Name: As you want it displayed on sent messages
    Email Address: Must be **youruserID**@cabrini.edu (ex. abc123@cabrini.edu)

    Server Information
    Account Type: IMAP
    Incoming mail server will be: imap.cabrini.edu
    Outgoing mail server will be: smtp.cabrini.edu

    Logon Information
    Same as CabriniOne login

    After entering the settings, select More Settings to configure the mail server settings.

    In the Internet Email Settings
  9. On the Outgoing Server tab, select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
  10. On the Advanced tab, for both Incoming and Outgoing servers, enable SSL for the encrypted connection. Change the Incoming Server to port 993 and the Outgoing Server to port 465. Once completed, hit OK to return to the previous window.

  11. Click Next. Outlook will test the settings. Click Close and Finish.
