Connecting to CommCenter and Personal H: drives on Mac OSX

1) First navigate to the “Go” menu and select “Connect to Server.” NOTE: if the Go menu does not appear on the screen, you must activate the Finder by clicking on the desktop.




2) Next, choose the appropriate server from the options provided under “Favorite Servers.” To access the CommCenter share, choose “172.19.0.16” and to choose your Personal H Drive, choose “172.19.0.16/(youruserID)$” and fill in your user ID where indicated.



3) Select the “Connect” button



4) An Authentication window will then pop up, which should contain the information in the above-right image, as it pertains to you. Select “OK” and the drive will appear on your desktop. NOTE: do NOT select the “Add to Keychain” option. This will permanently save your password to the computer, thus enabling others to access to your share drive.
