Management

Marlayne Dundovich, Director of ITR
Marlayne comes to Cabrini and Drexel from the Program Management Office of the City of Philadelphia, where she was Deputy Director of Business Integration Services in the Division of Technology.  Marlayne’s 14-year academic career began at Bryn Mawr College in Academic and Administrative computing, Director of Computing Services at the University of the Arts, and more recently seven years in technology leadership at the University of Pennsylvania.  Her experience in active direction of technical and non-technical staff in support of academic and administrative projects are invaluable in moving the ITR team and Cabrini College forward in the academic technology arena.



Networking and Systems Infrastructure

Todd Kern, Senior Network Systems Engineer
Todd has been with Drexel University for 14 years and supporting Cabrini College for 12 of those years. Todd's roles touch nearly every aspect of technology at Cabrini College; He is an "outside the box" thinker, always applying his natural creativity and advanced knowledge of servers, networking, hardware and systems support to further enhance the infrastructure and computing experience for users. He is quick and accurate in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving problems. In addition to his roles in campus servers and networking infrastructure, Todd posesses a strong skillbase in scripting and automation, web development, security, graphic design, resource analysis and benchmarking/monitoring. Todd has an educational background in General Engineering, Architecture, CAD, Computer Science and Physics.

Outside of work Todd is equally as ambitious; a landlord since the age of 20 and a homeowner, his interests include real estate, home improvements, finance, staying current on science & technology. He is a certified open water scuba diver and enjoys activities such as archery, biking, camping, and hiking.

Todd holds the following certifications: MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)




Online Learning and Instructional Technology

Abigail Maley, eLearning Support Specialist
Abigail has taught online classes for approximately 15 years. She has also been an online student and has developed/assisted in developing countless online courses, so her approach to instruction is from a holistic standpoint. As she says, she is a “teacher and a geek,” and is happy to help you with any questions you have about online instruction and delivery of any content online.
In her off-time, Abigail enjoys gardening, reading, playing games and romping with her four rescued animals.

Desktop Support Staff


Chris Anderson, Help Desk Support Analyst
Chris joined the ITR team in May 2011. Chris graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and a Minor in Photography. He spent three years working as a Desktop Support Intern at York College as well as a Smart Classroom technician. After graduation, Chris worked for Wellspan Health in York, PA as a Desktop Support Analyst.

Chris is a wedding photographer/videographer in his spare time and enjoys playing Frisbee, basketball, hockey and guitar. He also enjoys traveling with his girlfriend and friends.



Asanté Barr, Help Desk Support Analyst
Asanté became a member of the ITR Staff in July of 2007. Asanté graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology and an ACBSP Business Accreditation/Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems. During tenure as a student at Delaware State University he worked as a Computer Technician for Delaware State's Academic Computing Department for two years, Asanté also worked with the Department of Residential Education for three years as a Resident Advisor in Medgar Evers Resident Hall.

Asanté enjoys dealing with all aspects of technology; he builds websites and computers on his spare time, outside of work. Some of Asanté's other interest include football, basketball and bowling.



Eric Blevins, Senior Help Desk Support Specialist
Eric came to Cabrini from Drexel University's Information Resources and Technology Department. Prior to coming to Drexel he worked for the public library system in Baltimore, as well as Verizon's managed hosting division.


Rob Getz, Help Desk Support Coordinator
Rob joined the Cabrini ITR department in July 2009. He graduated from Drexel University’s iSchool with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems. Prior to joining Cabrini he worked for Drexel’s IRT Department, and Sungard Availability Services. He is planning to pursue a Master’s Degree at Drexel University in Information Systems in the fall.

Outside of work Rob enjoys, playing volleyball, tennis, and reading.



Marnee Klein, Help Desk Support Analyst
Marnee joined the ITR department in November 2008. Previously, she was the Informational Technology guru at Barrack Hebrew Academy, where she performed desktop support and deployed every computer for the brand new campus of the high school.  Prior to that, at the University of Pennsylvania, she worked in the Institute for Research in Cognitive Science, writing programs to analyze databases on infant language development and conducting studies. She also worked on a Department of Defense-funded project in the natural language processing of Arabic, as well as performed a practicum working with schizophrenic inpatients. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in computer science, linguistics, and cognitive science.  She is currently pursuing an MBA from Drexel University with a concentration in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Marnee is passionate about efficiency, problem solving, apple juice, light opera, musicals, layout design and philology.



iShane O'Malley, Help Desk Support Analyst
Shane joined the Cabrini ITR department in July 2009. He graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor of science in computer engineering. He has worked with Drexel’s IRT department since September of 2005. He has also worked in Sunoco’s networking group for 2 years and gained extensive knowledge in networking infrastructure and protocols. During his studies at Drexel, he researched and studied network programming, wireless communications and hardware programming.

Shane spends his free time running, playing tennis, bowling, snowboarding, photography and working towards his masters in electrical engineering.
