Commuter Students: Welcome to Cabrini College!
We want you to know that "Cabrini Cares about Commuter Students!"

The Center for Student Engagement and Leadership (SEaL) has provided a liaison within the office to work with the needs and wants of commuter students specifically. Also, the Cabrini Commuter Crew (C3), a student organization, hosts events and represents the voice for the commuter student population.

Cabrini has even found a way to welcome commuter students into the program of Living-Learning Communities (LLC) or first-year students. If you are a prospective student for Cabrini planning to commute, be sure to check out the Academic and Career Exploration (ACE) non-residential LLC.

So please feel free to check out the different services and opportunities Cabrini offers commuter students (appreciation days, breakfast bars, carpools, Commuter Crew, lockers, lounges, meal plans, newsletters, snack shacks, etc.) and stop by the Center for Student Engagement and Leadership (SEaL) on the first floor of the Widener Center with any ideas or questions.

Lounges

The following spaces have been identified by Commuter Students as excellent places to spend that extra time you have on campus:

Founder's Hall Second Floor Lounge:
This lounge has been unofficially named the Commuter Lounge and can be found in the Communication Center on the second floor of Founder's Hall. The Commuter Crew holds meetings here, and there is a TV, a microwave, vending machines, couches, and tables. The space is somewhat quiet for studying and socializing.

Dixon Center: High traffic area! Couches, lounge space, and great exercise equipment.

Founder's Hall Lobby: High-traffic area with couches for lounging.

Jazzman's Café: Drinks and food, tables, chairs, and couches. Space includes a big-screen TV and usually has music playing.

Library: Quiet space to study. Tables, chairs, couches, and computers.

Grace Hall Atrium: Snack and drink machines.

Student Development Lounge: Somewhat quiet space on the second floor of the Widener Center. Space includes couches.

CAV Car Pool

This commuter program is designed to help students save gas and meet new people. If you're interested in receiving a ride or sharing your car with another Cabrini Cavalier stop by the Commuter Board, located on the second floor of the Widener Center.

Here's how to sign up:
- Interested students must post their information on the board. Include name, email or phone number, and information about from where you are driving or from where you need a ride.

- Students are responsible for securing their own car pool by contacting other students who have posted their information.

- Students should periodically check the board for new postings until a carpool has been secured.
