Science Education: Pre-Pharmacy Program

The pre-pharmacy program provides the academic requirements of the first two years of a pharmacy program. Students are then eligible to transfer into the first professional year at a college of pharmacy.

Transfer is highly competitive with most institutions requiring 3.2 in the sciences and overall cumulative QPA. There is no direct transfer. Students should indicate this major in their first year. Students in this program have the option to select and complete a four-year major at Cabrini College.

For more information about pharmacy programs and prerequisites associated with particular pharmacy programs, contact Dr. Joseph Smith.

Prerequisites required by most pharmacy programs are listed below, but students are required to investigate the exact course requirement of the pharmacy program of interest.
