Science Education: Pre-Nursing Program

Cabrini's pre-nursing program provides students with the prerequisites in nursing for transfer to nursing institutions. Cabrini offers the first two years of a baccalaureate nursing program. Students should indicate this major in their first year.

Students in this program at Cabrini have the option to change their major and still earn a degree in four years. Students should consult the department concerning transfer requirements and procedures. There are articulation agreements with Neumann College and Thomas Jefferson University but no direct transfers.

Articulation Agreement
Specific questions regarding eligibility for admission (GPA requirements, minimum prerequisite grades, certificates, and other admission criteria) to bachelor of science in nursing (B.S.N.) programs covered under articulation agreements with Neumann College and Thomas Jefferson University should be directed to the pre-nursing advisor at Cabrini College.

NUR 205 and NUR 206 may need to be taken at Neumann College concurrently with courses being offered at Cabrini College prior to admission. These courses are not available at Neumann College during the summer.
