You can study abroad in traditional semester-long and yearlong programs, during the summer, or by enrolling in one of the short-term courses in the Cabrini College Abroad initiative.
These courses are designed to include an 8-10 day international component that takes place over Spring Break. In 2008, students studied British Visual Culture in London, Renaissance Art and Architecture in Italy, and Sustainable Economic Development in Honduras.
Recent course topics included Ecology in Costa Rica and French Visual Culture. This year, students will travel to Brussels, Antwerp, and Amsterdam as they study the intricacies of the European Union, and to Salamanca and Madrid Spain, where they will engage in Spanish language and culture studies.
Imagine studying in interesting places such as:
- Australia
- Austria
- Central America
- China
|
- England
- France
- Greece
- Ireland
|
- Italy
- Japan
- Mexico
- New Zealand

Experiencing other cultures and understanding their viewpoints are more important than ever. Cabrini's programs immerse students in another country, giving an invaluable global perspective to their college education. Cabrini encourages students to become scholars in foreign lands, earning credits, honing language skills, and broadening understanding of their own roles in an increasingly global society.
Since international learning is an essential component of an effective undergraduate education, Cabrini is committed to providing high-quality, academically sound, and experientially rich study abroad programs and support services to all its students.
Students get an unparalleled learning opportunity that stimulates thinking and broadens cultual awareness. The program melds perfectly with the rest of the Cabrini experience. What you learn abroad is complemented by what you learn stateside, and vice versa. Through the Study Abroad Office, students have access to foreign study programs sponsored by Cabrini, and by other institutions of higher learning throughout the world.
Students interested in studying abroad should meet with the coordinator at least a full semester in advance to allow sufficient time to investigate available options, plan for the trip, and arrange all aspects of the program. |
