Graduation Requirements

Students earning a bachelor's degree need 123 credits to graduate. Please note that some students might require more credits depending on their major or minor, and some might need to take developmental coursework.

The general education core curriculum is designed to help students develop the qualities, abilities, and skills of a liberally educated person. While each student develops in-depth knowledge within a major, liberally educated students should also share a common core of knowledge. A listing of courses that satisfy the core is available in the College catalog at www.cabrini.edu/catalog, or each semester's course schedule.

Students earning acceptable scores on high school Advanced Placement Exams will be granted credit towards graduation at Cabrini College. A complete list of exams, acceptable grades, and number of credits awarded by the College is available in the College College Catalog.

Transferring Courses
Students can take classes at another college and still count them towards graduation, but there are a few limitations. Not all courses from other colleges meet core, major, or graduation requirements.

Students should contact the Registrar's Office or their advisor for more information. Prior to enrolling at another school, students must complete an "Approval for Credit Taken at Other Institutions" form and then must have official transcripts for all courses taken elsewhere sent to Cabrini College. Students are required to complete a minimum of 45 credits towards their degree and must take their final 30 credits at Cabrini.
