Positions require 6-15 hours per week, and pay ranges from $7.25-$9 per hour. Priority given to students awarded Work Study or Work Grant.

Most athletics and recreation positions require current CPR certification.
Job Descriptions
- Office Assistant: Assist staff with general office work
- Front Desk: Serve in a receptionist capacity by greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls, assisting with membership sales, performing cash and credit-card transactions, and providing information about Dixon Center programs
- Fitness Center Specialist: Supervise the cardio and weight room, located in the fitness center
- Intramural Sports Official: Officiate intramural team sports, including flag football, basketball, frisbee, soccer, volleyball, and other seasonal team sports
- Equipment Room Attendant: Support the equipment needs of members and teams, court reservations, towels, and other support services
- Event/Game Management: Provide pre- and post-game assistance, setting up equipment for the evening, and/or weekend activities
- Team Manager: Support individual athletic teams with equipment, game-day management, and other duties as assigned by coaches
- Game Stat Crew: Work in areas such as:
- Game Statistics - help keep statistics at a variety of home events, learning StatCrew programs
- PA announcer
- Clock/Scoreboard -work official table, controlling game clock or scoreboard at various events
- Group Fitness Instructor: Develop routines and instruct group exercise sessions for students, staff, faculty, and community members
- Lifeguard: Monitor and supervise the pool, enforcing policies and procedures
