Make a Difference at Norristown Service Project
On Saturday, Nov. 21, student volunteers can participate in a service project at the Coordinated Homeless Outreach Center in Norristown, meeting the most pressing needs and working with Outreach Center residents. Students could make a differnce by painting, cleaning, or preparing donated goods. Transportation will be provided from campus.

Bishop Timothy Senior Visits Campus to Celebrate Mass
On Sunday, Nov. 22, Bishop Timothy Senior, recently ordained Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, will visit Cabrini to celebrate the 7 p.m. Mass and install those who minister at the Sunday evening liturgy. All are invited to greet Bishop Senior at a reception in the Mansion following Mass.

Concert Features Tenor Perry Brisbon
Tenor and Cabrini voice instructor Perry Brisbon performs Sunday, Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. in the Mansion. Accompanied by Kay Stretton, the concert will feature pieces by Handel, Mozart, Rossini, Gershwin, and Bernstein. Admission is free.

Info on Drug Abuse Prevention
On Monday, Nov. 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Health Hut in the Marketplace, you can meet Jess Huda for a healthy "Monday Mile" walk around campus and receive information on drug abuse prevention.

Fight Cancer at "Relay for Life" Kick-Off
On Monday, Nov. 23, from 3 to 4 p.m. in Jazzman's Café, teams can sign up for Relay for Life, a spring 2010 fundraiser for cancer awareness and treatment. Get involved in the fight against cancer and enjoy food and fun at this afternoon event.

Student Reading of Machiavelli's "Mandragola"
On Monday, Nov. 23, at 6 p.m. in the Library's first floor lounge, Philosophy and English students will present a reading of Machiavelli's famous satire "Mandragola." Refreshments will be served, and all are welcome at this free event.

Dining Services Thanksgiving Holiday Hours
Over the Thanksgiving holiday break, Dining Services will have the following hours of operation:
The Marketplace will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 26 and reopen for dinner service Sunday, Nov. 29.
Jazzman's Café and Sandella's will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 26 and reopen on Monday, Nov. 30. Sandella's "Late Night" will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 24 and reopen Sunday, Nov. 29.

Donate Prom Dresses & Prom Accessories for Charity
Sigma Rho, the Education honors society, is assisting Spring-Ford School District with a prom dress drive. Students with any gently used prom dresses, accessories, jewelry, purses, shawls, or shoes to donate are encourage to bring them to campus after Thanksgiving break. Donations will be accepted until early March and can be dropped off in Colleen Lelli's office, Grace Hall, 266.

Students can take a confidential and brief online survey to be entered into a prize drawing for Amazon.com gift cards valued from $25-$100.

Sign Up for Emergency Text Alert
On Tuesday, Nov. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Lil Burroughs, director of Public Safety, will be in the Marketplace providing information about Cabrini's Emergency Notificaion Alert system and signing up campus members. A test of the system will be sent this year. You need to have your cell phone with you to sign up. Click here for more information.

Mascot Ideas Needed for Cabrini's New Cavalier
Help create a brand new Cavalier mascot.
Submit your original ideas (images, sketches, videos, or written descriptions) for a chance to win great prizes and special recognition. The first 25 submissions will receive prizes. Contest is sponsored by the Student Government Association.

Beginning Nov. 16, from 12:30 to 3 p.m., the Dixon Center is holding Happy Healthi-Days, where participants can set a desired goal and acquire nutritional information before the holiday season. H1N1 Vaccine Now Available in Health Services
The Office of Health Services is offering the H1N1 vaccine to all Cabrini students, faculty, and staff. Register at www.cabrini.edu/healthservices for an appointment to receive the vaccine.

Blue Mountain Ski Tickets On Sale
Discount ski tickets for Blue Mountain are now on sale at the Dixon Center front desk. Tickets may be purchased anytime during building hours, and are good through the 2009-10 ski season.
 - Students save up to 50 percent. 
 - Faculty and staff save up to 35 percent. 
 - Community members save up to 20 percent.
