The Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) offers free academic assistance to all students through peer tutoring and resources dedicated specifically to math and writing.

The CTL focuses on strengthening study skills by having students work with classmates, trained peer tutors, friendly professional mentors, and highly dedicated faculty. The staff believes that effective teaching comes from making things matter, connecting the content of a course to the world outside the classroom.
The CTL offers a learning commons, providing:

Individualized support for students in mathematics, writing, and specific subjects Partnership with faculty to support the Cabrini community Academic resources for students and faculty to enhance the College's commitment to education Poster-printer resources for professional presentations

CTL staff participated in the College Reading & Learning Association's (CRLA) annual conference "Showcase of Best Practices in Peer Tutoring and Mentorship" on March 20, 2009 at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, PA. Peer and Professional tutors from the Writing Center and Math Resource Center gave presentations on their own best practices.
