Celebrating 50 years of teacher education and a commitment to the Common Good, Cabrini College convened on March 28-29, 2008 a Common Good Symposium around the theme of "Opportunities and Challenges in 21st Century Education." Students do extraordinary things at Cabrini College, a residential Catholic college serving 2,300 men and women in undergraduate and graduate liberal arts and professional studies programs. Cabrini's serene 112-acre campus is just 30 minutes from Philadelphia.

Act 48 CEU Credits: Cabrini College is recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as offering continuing education credits under Act 48 guidelines. Cabrini College adheres to the Act 48 Continuing Education Guidelines. PA educators will receive 12 professional development hours of Act 48 credit for attending the entire Common Good Symposium. To receive them, PA educators must indicate on their registration form that they are registering for Act 48 credits. Additionally, participants receiving Act 48 credit should identify themselves at the registration desk on the day of the Symposium, and they must submit the appropriate forms at the conclusion of the Symposium.
