- requesting a transcript
- finding out where classes meet
What can I NOT do at the Cavalier Express Center? Does Cabrini offer scholarships/grant money? Students can receive an achievement scholarship or grant after review of their final transcripts. This is renewable for their college career. Students also may receive a Cabrini grant after review of their FAFSA if they are deemed to have significant financial need. When should I fill out a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)? FAFSA applications are available at www.FAFSA.ed.gov after January 1 of each year for the upcoming academic year. There is no set deadline for filing a FAFSA to be sent to Cabrini, though Pennsylvania residents are encouraged to file before May 1, as this is the deadline for any consideration for a Pennsylvania State Grant. - Students must reapply using the FAFSA each year for the upcoming fall semester.
As a transfer student, am I eligible for a scholarship and financial aid? Yes, the Admissions Office will review your college transcript in order to determine your eligibility for a scholarship/grant. You can have your federal aid transferred to Cabrini with the exception of federal work-study (this will be determined by the Financial Aid Office). Students must change the primary school on their FAFSA to Cabrini College (school code 003241). If you have received an alternative loan, you must contact that lender and reapply for a new loan to be sent to Cabrini. Why can’t I view my eBill? First, ensure that pop ups are allowed on your browser, then restart your browser and try again. If that does not solve the problem, visit www.cabrini.edu/ITR. - Please note that the eBill is not compatible with Internet Explorer 9.
Please download an earlier version or use Mozilla Firefox.
What are ways I can pay my Cabrini bill? The Cavalier Express Center accepts payments in person at the Center, by mail, and online.
In person, payments may be made by check, money order, or cash. Payments by mail are accepted by check and money order. Online payments have even more options: Direct payments from checking or savings accounts, and by use of credit cards via Touchnet Paypath, Cabrini’s third-party provider. - Touchnet Paypath accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express, but charges a 2.75% convenience fee.
Does Cabrini offer a payment plan? Yes, Cabrini College provides a payment plan through Tuition Management Systems (TMS). They offer plans through which payment for expenses for an academic year (not including books) are spread over 10 or 12 months. A five‑month plan is available for the spring semester only. Contact Tuition Management Systems at 1‑888‑713‑7239 or at www.afford.com/cabrini. Can I register for courses if I have a hold on my account? (e.g. financial, health-related, library) Students with any type of hold on their account will not be able to register for classes, get final grades or transcripts, be eligible for certain financial aid packages, etc. If you are unsure of whether or not you have a hold on your account, please contact the Cavalier Express Center. How do I withdraw from a class? Students can withdraw from a course by filling out a Withdrawal Form (available in the Cavalier Express Center), or by completing the online withdrawal, available online during the add/drop period. When do classes begin and end this semester? The Academic Calendar, available at www.cabrini.edu/AcademicCalendar, includes semester start and end dates, holidays, pre-registration dates, etc. Do I have to apply for graduation if I am not participating in Commencement ceremonies? Yes. ALL students must apply for graduation whether they are participating in Commencement or not. Students that have not applied for graduation will not be allowed to receive their diploma. The application to graduate and other forms are available at www.cabrini.edu/Registrar. Please contact the Cavalier Express Center for further questions. Don’t see your question here? |
