Students may request housing during breaks and summer, as well as early arrival or late check‑out.
Residence Life tries to accommodate students who need housing on campus for academics, athletics, or on-campus jobs.
Any residents involved in a potential violation of College policies during break might be asked to leave immediately.
Break / Summer Housing Application
Log into Cabrini One at http://one.cabrini.edu.
Select the Students tab and then Housing.
Select the "MyHousing" link, which will open a new window.
Log in with the same user name and password as for Cabrini One.
Select the Application tab.
Fill out the information requested and submit.
Dining services are not available during breaks. Meals are the responsibility of the student.
Residence Life will notify students requesting break housing with 72 business hours, via their official Cabrini e-mail.
Available RoomsGenerally, students approved for break housing may stay in their own rooms during short breaks.
During winter break, students might have to stay in another room, either by arrangement with a friend or by Residence Life assignment.
Houses are closed during winter break. Residents assigned to houses that request housing during winter break may stay in another resident's room, in a residence hall remaining open.
Students requesting summer housing must be:
enrolled for summer classes or be approved to work on campus by a sponsoring departmentStudents who are no longer working on campus or taking a class at any point during the summer will not be permitted to remain in campus housing.
in good financial standing with the College and cleared by the Cavalier Express Center
Summer housing does not include a meal plan. Students may purchase a Cavalier Card to use in Jazzman’s Café and Cavs Corner, which will be open during limited summer hours.
The cost for on-campus summer housing is $1,230 per session for Summer I and II, and $2,460 for the 12-week summer session.
Timeline Students who apply for summer housing will be notified of summer housing assignments by Friday, May 9, 2014 via their official Cabrini email account.
Students residing on campus will remain in their spring-semester housing assignment until notified that a summer housing assignment is ready.
The Office of Residence Life will make arrangements to complete a Room Condition Report and sign out the keys to summer housing.
All Cabrini summer housing will be in the Cabrini Apartment Complex.
Summer residents should expect to move some time during the week of May 19–23, 2014.
Summer housing is available for Summer I, II, and 12-week summer sessions:
Students staying for Session I only must vacate their rooms and return their key by Monday, June 30, 2014.
Students staying for Summer II must vacate their rooms and return their key by Monday, August 11, 2014.
The specific check-out date may change for summer residents moving into their fall assignments. Residence Life will notify students near the end of July or first week of August.
