The Green Team—made up of students, faculty, and staff—is a Cabrini College committee that focuses on sustainability issues under five committees: Recycling, Earth Month, Garden, St. Francis Pledge, and Communication.
The Green Team upholds Cabrini College’s commitment to the stewardship of God’s creation by increasing our sustainability, which is defined as meeting the needs of today’s people without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.
Toward this end, the team will develop and implement projects to:
- increase the sustainability of all aspects of Cabrini College
- increase awareness of sustainability issues within the campus community
- provide support, advice, and resources to the sustainable living efforts of the college community, both on campus and off
