The prestigious Charles A. Mastronardi Award for Service and Leadership recognizes outstanding contributions to leadership in service to the community.
This includes college-related activities that provide direct service to a group in need and advocacy initiatives that promote understanding and change on societal issues.
Students are nominated by the Wolfington Center and Financial Aid. Winners are announced during the annual Cabrini Spirit Week celebration, during a formal campus presentation.
Nominees must full-time who completed 30 credits at Cabrini during a single year, who are in satisfactory academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5. They also must have demonstrated financial need and must not have received the award in the past.
This annual award is made possible through an endowed scholarship created by Margaret Mastronardi ’61 and her sister, Ruth Mastronardi Baldwin ’67, who visited hospitals and nursing homes as students.
The Charles A. Mastronardi Award for Service and Leadership carries on this tradition of service.
