Students who have a medical concern or just want to know more about personal health care may contact Health Services.
A registered nurse is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to provide emergency first aid, treat minor illness, and provide information and education. The College physician is available two afternoons per week by appointment.
Flu Vaccinations
The seasonal flu vaccine is available at Health Services between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Cost is $20 (cash and check accepted; cost also could be put into students' accounts). No appointment is necessary.
Health Forms and Insurance
All full-time undergraduate students must complete physical and health record forms for their own protection and that of others on campus. All full-time students are required to verify that they have sufficient medical insurance through Cabrini or a separate carrier before they are admitted to classes.
The Cabrini Plan is a managed care plan where the College Health Services office is the primary care provider for subscribers. There is an annual premium billed partially in the fall semester with the balance billed in the spring semester. All full-time students, those registered for 12 or more credits per semester, are eligible to participate. New, full-time students who enroll only for the spring semester are also eligible to participate.
