As a member of the Honors Living and Learning Community, you will have the opportunity to connect with other Honors students. Students will:
make friends and network with fellow Honors students who will be the leaders of tomorrow share ideas and perspectives with your peers interact with outstanding professors who personally engage you and support you in your learning participate in a variety of co-curricular programming that will allow you to have a unique academic experience both in and outside of the classroom develop your critical thinking skills for the application process to graduate and professional programs after graduation from Cabrini work together with faculty directors to allocate budgeted funds for activities and Honors events engage in self discovery, personal reflection, and a commitment to take responsibility for learning and growing as a student
As a member of this community, you will have the opportunity to create connections between what you're learning in the classroom and additional educational programs outside of the classroom. Such programs may include quality time spent at the: - Philadelphia Orchestra
- Bryn Mawr Film Institute
- Philadelphia Museum of Art
- Curtis Institute of Music concerts
- on- and off-campus theatre productions
- annual "meditation" retreat
- special on- and off-campus dinners
You will be challenged academically to achieve great grades, establish solid faculty relations and recommendations, accomplish notable research, and assume campus intellectual leadership, all in an enjoyable and exciting environment where you consistently can express your opinions and learn from the perspectives of your peers. Admittance into the Honors LLC is based on admittance into the Honors Program, which is based on cumulative GPA, SAT/ACT scores, and additional criteria.
