New Student Orientation 2023

Welcome to Cabrini!

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a program for new students to become familiar with campus, gear up for academic success, and learn about campus life. First Year Students are guided through the Orientation program by faculty, staff, and Orientation Leaders (OLs). OLs are returning students volunteering their time to help new students get connected to each other and ready for their first day of classes.

NSO for this year’s first year students will be held August 25-27, 2023.

On Friday, August 25, Residential students will schedule Move-In times for the morning hours and are required to attend Orientation from 1 to 6:30pm. Commuter students are required to attend Orientation from 11am to 5:15pm. Find more information about Move-In here.

On Saturday, August 26, all new students are required to attend Orientation sessions from 10am to 4:30pm.

Optional activities will be held in the evenings on August 25 and 26, and all day on Sunday, August 27.

Below is the 2023 New Student Orientation schedule. The Orientation planning team does not anticipate many changes to this schedule, so please familiarize yourself with the weekend sessions and events! Questions about New Student Orientation can be directed to Bridget O’Donnell, Director, Student Engagement and Leadership (SEaL), at bo7000@cabrini.edu.
