RADNOR, Pa. (Sept. 13, 2013) — Eric J. Olson of Springfield, Pa., has been named vice president for finance/treasurer at Cabrini College.
Olson has more than 25 years of experience in higher education, manufacturing and public accounting. Most recently, he served as vice president for finance and associate treasurer at Drexel University.
Olson has held several leadership roles at Drexel since 1999. Previously, he worked in the higher education practice of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and held roles in corporate finance.
As a former member of the board and current member of the Finance Committee for the Catholic Volunteer Network, Olson has seen how mission-driven young adults affect change in their communities.

Olson earned a bachelor of science in accounting from Pennsylvania State University, and became a certified public accountant in Pennsylvania in 1990. Olson began his new position on Sept. 9, 2013.
Cabrini offers more than 30 majors, pre-professional programs, concentrations and minors. The College also has graduate and professional studies programs at its main campus in Radnor, Pa., and at 14 off-site locations. The College’s serene 112-acre campus is located 30 minutes from Philadelphia.
