RADNOR, Pa. (May 18, 2012) — The Cabrini College men’s and women’s lacrosse teams each ended a successful 2012 season with a Colonial States Athletic Conference title.
The men’s team advanced to the third round of the NCAA Division III Tournament as the sixth-ranked team in the country before falling 14-4 to top-ranked Salisbury University in Salisbury, Md., on May 16.
The women’s team’s season came to an end in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament, when they lost to number-three Gettysburg.
Both programs enjoyed extraordinary campaigns this year. The men’s team won its 12th consecutive conference crown and extended its winning streak against conference opponents to 113 games. The Lady Cavs won their 11th conference title and the 200th game in the team’s history.
