RADNOR, Pa. (March 31, 2010) — Thirteen students traveled to Washington, D.C. on March 21 to join hundreds of thousands of people to rally for comprehensive immigration reform. The students also witnessed the historic vote for health care reform and met with representatives from Cabrini Immigrant Services from New York at a Mass for reform at St. Aloysius Church.
Cabrini students will return to the capital to lobby for reform on April 23 and will meet with their members of Congress. Students in SEM 300 have been studying immigration issues this semester, in conjunction with the US Bishops Justice for Immigrants Campaign www.justiceforimmigrants.org.
