Cabrini College One of Select Group of Theaters to Stage Historic Performance of Laramie Project-10 Years Later (An Epilogue)
RADNOR, Pa. (Sept. 16, 2009) — Cabrini Theater is one of just 100 international venues selected to stage a world premiere performance of The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later (An Epilogue) on Monday, Oct. 12. The 100 theaters will perform in sync with the Tectonic Theater Project premiere in New York's Lincoln Center, scheduled for 8 p.m. A live video feed to all theaters will broadcast the first 20 minutes of the performance, at which time the satellite theaters will conclude the play simultaneously.

Alumni Weekend Bench Dedication to Honor Marty McGonigle ’89
During his Cabrini years, Marty McGonigle ’89 was known mainly for his love of soccer and his loyalty to his friends. As a Cavalier, Marty played soccer and formed lasting friendships with teammates and other student athletes. During Alumni Weekend this year, the Class of 1989 honored Marty's warm spirit by dedicating a bench in his name during a memorial service.

Kate (Pierangeli) Pearson has been named head women's basketball coach at Cabrini College. Pearson will take over leadership of the women's basketball program July 1 following five seasons as an assistant coach with the Cavaliers.

Hackett, president of Catholic Relief Services, addressed students earning bachelor's degrees at the morning ceremony. Dr. Janet Samuels, superintendent of the Norristown School District, addressed graduates earning master's degrees in the afternoon ceremony.

RADNOR, Pa. (May 5, 2009) – Jaiquann Beckham, an honors student at Christiana High School in Newark Delaware who plans to enroll at Cabrini in fall 2009, was featured on the Oprah Winfrey show today. Navajo Nation Member Presents on Ancient Ceremony
Rev. John Coy Cook, member of the Navajo Nation and ordained Presbyterian minister, will speak on "Healing the Coyote in Me," an ancient Navajo coyoteway blessing ceremony, at Cabrini College on Wednesday, March 25. The ceremony, no longer performed, is designed to help people balance spiritual, mental, and physical lives through the lenses of the Navajo culture.

Exonerated Death Row Inmate Speaks on Innocence and Value of Human Life
Former death row inmate Curtis McCarty will speak at Cabrini College on his trial, conviction and subsequent exoneration. In 2007, McCarty was exonerated and released from an Oklahoma prison after serving 21 years—19 of them on death row—for a 1982 Oklahoma City murder he did not commit.
