National Undergraduate Conference on Body Image
Cabrini College will host a two-day National Undergraduate Conference focusing on Body Image featuring keynote speakers, a performance from In My Body: The Musical, concurrent sessions, and workshops.
This event is organized by the English Department Women’s Studies Program and made possible through generous funding from the KatherineAlexandra Foundation.

Participants are invited to consider questions about what and who defines body image, as well as the significance of body image theoretically and historically understood. Possible topics could address, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Register to Attend
Event registration is $25 for students and $45 for faculty.
Participate in the Conference
We invite proposals for three different formats: individual presentations, panel discussions/workshops, and creative submissions.
Individual presentations will be limited to 15 minutes each.
Panel discussions or workshops (a small group of presenters who collaborate on an organized discussion and/or activities) will be limited to 45 minutes each.
Creative submissions can be in the form of poetry, spoken word, photography, artwork, etc.
