Cabrini College Information Literacy Skills Inventory

Information literacy is the ability to articulate the need for relevant information; to identify and access appropriate information; to analyze information critically; to synthesize and apply new information effectively; and to communicate new knowledge, all in an ethical and legal manner.

This brief skills inventory measures your current information literacy quotient. There are 33 questions.

Please note that your information is entered into the database only at the completion of this pre-test. You must complete the pre-test in order to have your responses considered.

Also, after 30 minutes of inactivity, the server will drop your individual session and you will get a message "Incorrect session id." To continue, you would need to start at the beginning again. (You can take as much time as you need to complete the inventory as long as you do not stop while taking it for more than 30 minutes.)
