Online Lectures and Meetings Using Blackboard Collaborate
Blackboard's new application for online web conferencing, Collaborate, enables real-time presentations with PowerPoint, audio and video. Getting everyone connected, however, can be challenging. This hands-on workshop will cover the hardware and setup required to launch Collaborate and discuss best practices for online synchronous sessions.
Building Exams in Cabrini Learn
Online quizzes, exams and self-assessments in Cabrini Learn can be set up to automatically score and report results to students and instructors. New with Learn, properly formatted questions can now be uploaded directly to the course, or may be uploaded through the Respondus exam editor. In this hands-on workshop, learn how to set up exams and surveys in Learn, and how to create exams in Word or Respondus and upload to your courses.
The Cabrini Learn Grade Center
The Grade Center in Cabrini Learn follows the same general principles as the Grade Book in Bb Vista, but is different in many details. This hands-on workshop will cover creating columns of various types, including the new weighted columns, and what "needs grading" can do for you.
