RegistrationTo register a new account or log into the system, visit www.education.state.pa.us and click 'Register' or 'Log In' on the left.
Accessing TIMSTIMS is accessible via logging into the PDE website, www.education.state.pa.us, under 'Teachers' or 'Certifications' or directly at www.PA-TIMS.com.
Applying for Credentials
Select 'New Credential Application' and answer background questions. Additional instructions are provided for any 'Yes' responses.
Candidates might also be asked to provide documentation and answer questions related to Praxis exams, institution, and duration of study.
Certify that your information is true and click 'Continue.'Choose a credential type.
When the application is successfully completed, save and print the Coversheet, which serves as the first page of a set of documents to submit in hard copy to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The Coversheet also lists additional requirements that applicants must submit.
Email the Coversheet to your program coordinator. It is a requirement to complete program coursework and exit protocols.
