Master of Education

Jordan Harris received a master of education from Cabrini in 2008. From March 2010 to November 2011, he served as executive director of the Philadelphia Youth Commission (PYC), advising Mayor Nutter, City Council members, and other key stakeholders on strategies to improve the lives of Philadelphia youth.

He also served on the Mayor’s Police Advisory Commission before leaving PYC to pursue a run for political office.

Harris was named one of Philadelphia Tribune Magazine’s “10 People Under 40 to Watch in 2011” and one of the 25 innovative young leaders in the country for 2011 by the American Swiss Foundation.

Master of Education (M.Ed.)

The Master of Education degree is designed for educators who are seeking an opportunity to study new areas of education and expand their coursework in areas of special interest.
