Children’s School Staff
Mrs. Nicole Whiteman, Interim Director
Mrs. Whiteman is a 2000 graduate of Bloomsburg University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. This is her eighth year at The Children’s School. She brings with her a passion for teaching and a strong foundation in early childhood education. She taught pre-school for three years and second grade before moving to King of Prussia in 2003. She completed her master’s degree in education at Cabrini College in May 2009. Mrs. Whiteman enjoys traveling, reading, and shopping. She loves music and spending time with her husband, Dave.
Miss Virginia Foseid, Teacher
Miss Foseid graduated from Drexel University where her major was early childhood education. She received her master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Pennsylvania, and has completed additional graduate work at Pennsylvania State University. Miss Foseid retired in 1997 after 30 years as a kindergarten and first grade teacher with the Rose Tree Media School District. This is her tenth year at The Children’s School. Miss Foseid enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and her two dogs.
Ms. Jessica Hemingway, Teacher
Ms. Hemmingway graduated from Cabrini College in 2010 where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education. She completed her internship at The Children’s School in the spring of 2010. This is her second year as a fulltime teacher at The Children’s School. Ms. Hemingway loves the seashore, traveling, cooking, spending time with her family and cheering on the Phillies and Eagles!
Mrs. Marissa LePage, School Assistant and Substitute Teacher
Mrs. LePage graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree. She earned her master’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked successfully with children in summer camps, schools, and daycare settings. She is also a CPR instructor. Both of her daughters attended the Children’s School. Mrs. LePage enjoys spending time with her family and hiking with her dogs.
Ms. Linsey Mirigliani, Teacher
Ms. Mirigliani graduated from Cabrini College in 2004. She earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education. While at Cabrini she did her field study experience and student teaching at The Children’s School. This is her seventh year teaching Kindergarten at The Children’s School. Ms. Mirigliani earned a master’s degree in education, as well as reading specialist certification, at Cabrini College in August 2008. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She is a baseball, hockey, and football fan and enjoys watching and going to the games.
Ms. Morgan Molinaro, School Assistant and Substitute Teacher
Ms. Molinaro graduated from Cabrini College in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She is currently enrolled in the Master’s program at Cabrini College. In the spring of 2011 Ms. Molinaro was a student teacher at The Children’s School. This is her first year as a school assistant. She is very excited to join the team! Ms. Molinaro loves the Phillies, the beach and hanging out with family and friends.
Mrs. June Olster, School Assistant
Mrs. Olster holds a Pennsylvania Private Academic School Certification in Nursery and Kindergarten and graduated Most Likely to Succeed in Early Childhood Education. She was Assistant Director of a preschool/daycare in Ardmore for sixteen years before joining The Children’s School in 2008. Mrs. Olster is an alumna of the Barnes Foundation Arts Education program. She loves spending time with her husband Peter, son Scott, daughter Sharon and four grandchildren. She enjoys stand up comedy and was runner up for America’s Funniest Mom in 1998.
Ms. Ashley Quinn, Teacher
Ms. Quinn graduated in December 2007 from Cabrini College with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. After graduation she spent a semester as a substitute teacher in local school districts. At Cabrini she achieved Dean’s List for multiple semesters and was President of CAEYC (Cabrini’s Association for the Education of Young Children), the college pre-service branch of NAEYC. She is currently working toward her masters with a special education certification at Cabrini. This is Ms. Quinn’s fourth year at The Children’s School. Ms. Quinn enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Riva Rivalta, Teacher
Mrs. Rivalta earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from West Chester University and her master's degree at Rosemont College. Mrs. Rivalta was a preschool teacher for 15 years at Upper Merion Baptist Nursery School. She held the director's position for the last two years at the nursery school. She taught Kindergarten and First Grade at Mother of Divine Providence for four years. She began working at The Children's School as the Substitute Teacher in November, 2010. She is a Girl Scout leader and P.R.E.P. teacher for St. Eleanor's School. Mrs. Rivalta and her husband reside in Collegeville with their four children and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys attending her children's sporting events, traveling with the family, and hanging out with friends.
Ms. Maureen Saunders, Teacher
Ms. Saunders is a 2008 graduate of Cabrini College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She joined The Children’s School staff in November 2008 as the part-time school assistant and substitute teacher. She is currently enrolled in the master’s degree program in education. In September 2009, Ms. Saunders became a full-time teacher at The Children’s School. Ms. Saunders enjoys reading, traveling, going to museums, and spending time with her friends and family.
Mrs. Megan Sutterfield, Teacher
Mrs. Sutterfield has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Elizabethtown College and completed her Master’s in Education at Gratz College. She taught pre-school for three years while her older children were very young. After staying home for 10 years to raise her family, she returned to education in 2003 as a substitute in Spring-Ford Area School District. This is Mrs. Sutterfield’s fourth year as a teacher at The Children’s School. Mrs. Sutterfield has four children, Joshua (19), Hannah (17), Simeon (13), and Julia (11). She and her husband Dennis enjoy attending their children’s sporting events, reading, cooking, gardening, and exercising. Their oldest son Joshua is a sophomore at Cabrini College. He is majoring in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, and he runs cross country and plays lacrosse for Cabrini.
