Class Agents promote the ideals and mission of the College by encouraging their classmates to participate in the Alumni Association.
Class Agents help to promote the Alumni Association by informing their classmates about the achievements, activities, and goals of the Cabrini College Alumni Association.
Responsibilities
The Class Agent functions as a liaison between his or her class and the Alumni Office. The Class Agent is responsible for communicating important College news, generating enthusiasm about upcoming events and funrdraising programs, and encouraging participation.
Conversely, the Class Agent communicates to the Alumni Office ideas, status changes, and requests that come from class members.
During their appointment, Class Agents are expected to commit to the following:

Making Cabrini a priority in their lives and making a commitment to College affairs, activities, and programs through personal participation and encouragement of classmate participation

Staying abreast and informed of communications—electronic and other—from the College, Alumni Board, and Alumni Office/Institutional Advancement, and responding promptly

Contributing annually to the Cabrini Fund at a level that is personally meaningful and reflective of an individual commitment to the future and mission of Cabrini College

In conjunction with the Alumni Office and the Annual Giving Office, lending guidance and support in setting annual goals for class participation and giving

Encouraging annual class participation and support of the Cabrini Fund by assisting in fundraising initiatives and reviewing and signing a Cabrini Fund appeal letter to be sent out once a semester

In collaboration with the Alumni Office, lending guidance and support in planning events and initiatives that increase class participation and involvement within the Cabrini College Alumni Association and cultivate a continued positive connection between classmates and Cabrini College

Serving as chair for the Alumni Weekend Class Committee and assisting the Alumni Office in the recruitment of class committee members

Working collaboratively with the Alumni Office and Annual Giving Office during reunion years to establish and promote reunion-year giving and participation goals

Functioning as a resource for the Alumni Office, Alumni Board of Directors, Cabrini Fund chairs, and Phonathon coordinators requiring input for potential volunteers

Attending Class Agent and Alumni Weekend Class Committee Meetings, as planned

Lending name or signature to class initiatives and letters, while serving as a known leader and point of contact for classmates

Providing the Alumni Office with updated information on changes to classmates’ contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email) on a quarterly basis

Supporting the mission of the College and Alumni Association as opportunities arise and are defined
