Ray Crew ’77 Ray graduated from Cabrini in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Communications and History, before attaining a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from The University of Pennsylvania. Ray began his professional career in television news, before progressing into theatre and radio. Some of Ray’s past professional titles include: Director of Creative Interpretation for The Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts in Cape May New Jersey; Artistic Director for The Carrollwood Players in Tampa Florida; Owner and Operator of WENC radio station in Myrtle Beach; and chief learning executive for The American Automobile Association and Arbitration Forums Inc. Ray is the author and director of numerous stage and screen productions in the U.S., Canada and Great Britain. His work was recognized by the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association and The American Marketing Association. His play “The End of the Run” was named Best New One Act Play of 2004 in Tampa Florida and he received The William Byham Award for Innovation and Excellence in 1997. Cabrini College awarded Ray the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award in 2004. Ray is the co-author of “The Service Leaders Club,” recognized in 1997 as one of the top five business books by The Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals.
Presently, Ray serves as the founder and manager of Cape Island Theatre Company. He also runs his own consulting company, People Performance Designers Inc and hosts his own weekly radio show, “Theatre of the Mind” on WCFA Cape May, New Jersey. Ray is a United State Coast Guard licensed Captain. Ray resides in Villas, New Jersey with his wife and he has two grown children.
Elizabeth McNerlin Collins ’71 Liz graduated from Cabrini College in 1971. Liz also holds a degree from Drexel University. Liz is retired after a long career as a Law Librarian at Dechert LLP. After graduation, Liz continued her involvement with Cabrini College through her incredible volunteerism. Liz is a former member of Cabrini College’s Alumni Board of Directors (1974-1978) and the Board of Trustees (1984-1990). Liz also served Cabrini as an alumni phoneathon volunteer (1979 - 1992), special event volunteer (1980-1983 & 1987), Antique Auto Show Volunteer (1988), Mansion Gala Committee member (1986, 1991, 1993, 1995-1997), class agent for the Class of 1971 and Campaign Steering Committee member (1989). Liz was also a member and president of the Greater Philadelphia Law Library Association, a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the Center City Corps of the American Cancer Society (1991-1996), the Forum III, World Affairs Council and the Radnor Historical Society (2011-present). She volunteers as a docent at the Winterthur Museum & Gardens. Liz currently resides in Chesterbrook, PA with her husband, Jim.

Kathleen Casazza ’84 Kathleen graduated from Cabrini College in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Education, with plans to pursue a Masters in School Counseling in the fall of 2012. Kathleen is a part of a Cabrini legacy family, which includes: husband, Tony Cazassa’84; sister-in-law, Maureen Murray Casazza’87; sister, Anne Lyons Hay’88; brother-in-law, Peter Casazza’88; son, Anthony Casazza’10; and son, Matthew Casazza’12. For 19 years, Kathleen has served Parkview Elementary School in Westville, NJ, including presently as a first grade teacher. Kathleen’s volunteerism includes service on several Parkview Elementary committees and as a tutor; West Deptford High School PTO President for the nine years, including as treasurer for the elementary school PTO and member of the middle school PTO; and the School Safety Committee and the School Advisory Council in West Deptford, New Jersey. For 19 years, Kathleen also served as a volunteer administrator of a Pre-K summer safety program in West Deptford, New Jersey, which teaches playground safety, school bus safety, fire safety, and stranger danger, among other things. Kathleen charitable support extends to The American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and her local church. Kathleen resides in West Deptford, NJ with her husband and three children. Joel Zazyczny ’89 Joel graduated from Cabrini College in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Bachelor of Arts in English/Communications. As a student, Joel was Student Body President for 2 years, a member of the Tennis Team and was selected for the Charles A. Mastronardi Service and Leadership Award. Joel has remained an active member of the Cabrini College Alumni Association, volunteering his time for Alumni Weekend planning, as a phoneathon volunteer, as an alumni mentor, and, in the 1990s, through his service on the Alumni Board of Directors. Joel is currently on the Board of Directors and Vice President of Silanes, Silicones & Metal-Organics at Gelest Inc., where he is responsible for managing all business operations to include Global Distribution, Product Management, Strategic Development, Purchasing, as well as the company’s Customer Service, Micro-Particle Development & Technical Service and Marketing departments. Joel has more than 20 years of experience in silicon-chemistry, surface-modification and industrial-mineral applications development, which includes key technical, commercial and executive positions with Hüls America, Polar Minerals and Imerys Performance Minerals. Joel currently resides in New Hope, PA with his wife, Kelly Ann, and their three children.

Philip Gagliardi ’98 Philip graduated from Cabrini College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Philip also attained a Master of Science in Taxation and Financial Planning from Widener University. Presently, Philip serves as a Financial Advisor/ParaPlanner at Hoover Financial Advisors, working primarily with Pete Hoover, the principal of the firm, where his responsibilities include all facets of financial planning, investment portfolios, and wealth management. Additionally, Philip serves on the Hoover Financial Advisors’ Investment Committee, where he participates in the evaluation of investment managers and strategies. He is also a member of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry. Philip is Series 7 and Series 66 licensed, with plans to receive his Certified Financial Planning designation in November 2012. Prior to joining Hoover Financial Advisor in 2011, Phil served in various roles at Charles Schwab and Wachovia Bank. Philip has continued his involvement within the Cabrini College Alumni Association through his support of the Cabrini Lacrosse program. In his spare time, Philip has competed in six spring triathlons. Philip resides in Drexel Hill, PA with his wife, Ashley, two children, Philip and Heather, and boxer, Vixen. Amy Wechsler Foran ‘94 Amy graduated from Cabrini College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications. After graduation, Amy worked in marketing and sales support for an insurance and financial services firm before transitioning to stay home with her four children. Amy currently volunteers in a variety of activities including a charity golf outing that benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Amy also volunteers her time to assist with events for St. Francis of Assisi Parish and Home and School Association. Amy is a member of Springfield Township Parks and Recreation Committee and has been elected Springfield Township Fourth Ward Republican Committeeperson. She currently resides in Springfield, PA with her husband, Tom Foran’93, and children; Ryan, Olivia, Elizabeth, and Maggie.

Brian Rice ’01 Brian graduated from Cabrini College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Brian’s two younger brothers, Shawn and Kevin, also graduated from Cabrini College, making him a Cabrini Legacy. In addition, Brian holds a MBA degree from St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business. Brian has 10 years experience working on both the client and agency side of marketing and currently he is a Sr. Manager at SAP working in Global Marketing with a focus on online marketing and social media. Brian has volunteered at Cabrini by participating on the Marketing Panel, which explores potential career options for students majoring in Marketing. He is also an adjunct professor at Cabrini teaching Online and Direct Marketing. Brian currently resides in Malvern, PA with his wife, Geri. Michelle Murray ’05 Michelle graduated from Cabrini College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Studio Art. Since graduation, Michelle pursued a career in residence life for higher education institutions. Michelle began her career as the Assistant Resident Director at Western Carolina University, before moving to Easter Kentucky University. Michelle presently serves as the Resident Director for Gwynedd-Mercy College. Michelle’s community service contributions include volunteering for the Conference for Mercy Higher Education and on the Alternative Spring Break service trip to Cincinnati, Ohio in March 2012. Michelle was also selected as a candidate for the Mission Leadership Academy and served as a Student Leadership Retreat Facilitator. Michelle has remained an active contributor within the Cabrini College Alumni Association through her frequent attendance to alumni events. Michelle currently resides in Gwynedd Valley, PA. Jacqueline Marciano ’10 Jacqueline graduated from Cabrini College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Currently, Jacqueline is employed as the Logistics Specialist for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she oversees the planning and execution of fundraising galas, walks, and dinner dances within the Philadelphia Chapter. As a Cabrini student, Jacqueline found her passion for dance as a member of the Cabrini Dance Team. As a member, Jacqueline helped to further develop the team by creating a contract, expand their community outreach, and identify outside funding opportunities. In 2010, the Dance Team won Organization of the Year. Jackie currently serves as a volunteer coach for the Cabrini Dance Team and teaches dance weekly in her aunt’s studio, Radomile Academy of Dance. Jacqueline also supports the Susan G. Komen Three Day event, a cause personally meaningful to Jacqueline’s family. In honor of her aunt, Jacqueline hosted a fundraising Beef and Beer for the Susan G. Komen Three Day in Dallas, Texas, which raised over $12,000. Jacqueline currently resides in Havertown, PA. |
