1960s/1970s – Select two candidates.
Mary Gionta ’66 Mary graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She was employed by General Electric (GE) Research and Development as a math technician. She remained with GE until 1968, when she started her family. In 1988 she returned to work as an Assistant Manager for Alliance Bank.
Her fondest memories of returning to Cabrini are for her son's graduation in 1992; being a flag bearer for the Class of 1966 at the inauguration of President Marie George in 2008; celebrating her 40th Reunion and her 45th Reunion; and in 2013 when her classmate from 1966, Joan Buzzallino, received the Ivy Young Willis Award.
She married her husband Ron in 1967. They have five children (four married) and nine grandchildren. Currently, Mary is involved with the Sons and Daughters of Italy, Central Delco Lodge #2438, serving as financial secretary (2010-14) and as treasurer (2014-16).
Mary and Ron are members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Morton, Pa., where she is on Parish Council, an active member of the choir, and serves as a Eucharistic Minister.
Sharon Shipley Zubricky ’76 Sharon recently retired after a 35-year career as an educator. During that time span she worked as a sixth grade mathematics teacher at Community Middle School in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District (2010-12), as a computer resource specialist at Millstone River School in the same district (1995-2010), as the Computer Education Supervisor for the Hillsborough Township Public Schools (1983-92), and as a mathematics teacher at Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, N.J. (1976-83).
Sharon is now actively involved with the Church of St. Gregory the Great in Hamilton Square, NJ. She works with the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program, serves the church as a Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister and is a Lazarus Minister, working with families to prepare the funeral liturgy of a loved one.
A 1976 Cabrini College graduate, Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She holds a master's degree in education in student personnel services from the College of New Jersey, receiving her degree and Principal/Supervisor Certificate in 1979.
Sharon has remained involved at Cabrini since her graduation as an active member of the Alumni Association. She has served as Class Agent since 1982, previously served on the Alumni Board (1984-88) and currently serves the Alumni Board as an Alumni Trustee (2008-14), thus also serving on the College's Board of Trustees where she currently chairs its Mission and Identity Committee.
She has coordinated and planned the Alumni Weekend mass for the past 13 years while volunteering to serve on many other committees. She serves on the Governance Committee of the Alumni Board and most recently spearheaded the revision of the Alumni Association's By-Laws and Operating Guidelines.
She was honored in 2006 with the Alumni Association's Martha Dale Award for Distinguished Service. Sharon and her husband, John, reside in West Windsor, N.J. They have one son, Marc, who graduated from Cabrini College in 2009 with a degree in Information Systems.
1980s – Select two candidates.
Sean Homsher ’88 Sean graduated from Cabrini College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication. He also attained a Master in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, where he found many other Cabrini alumni among his classmates.
As a transfer student, Sean found a culture of support in the professors and administration at Cabrini that made a lasting impression on his life. Sean has achieved a successful 20+ year career in sports and entertainment television, where his accomplishments include earning an Emmy in 2008. Other highlights of his career include broadcasting the Olympic Games, World Series, Stanley Cup Finals, NBA Finals, all-star games, bowl games & NCAA championships. In addition to television, Sean co-developed and patented an equestrian sports equipment bag called The Tack-Along and developed a popular niche brand perfume with his wife called "Nuzzle, The Unbridled Fragrance," which was carried nationwide and internationally before he sold his interest.
Recently, Sean added "author" to his list of accomplishments as his first book, "99 Ways To Be Kind," was published, and opened up a new path of public speaking and engagement with those looking to make their world a better place.
Sean volunteers his time for Cabrini by assisting Admissions with calling prospective students to share his passion for the culture of support at Cabrini. Sean currently resides in Doylestown, Pa., with his wife, Leslie.
Donna Pascali ’89 Donna graduated from Cabrini in 1989 with a BA in English and Communications. While at Cabrini, she was a member of the Executive Board for SGA, an editor for The Loquitur and the yearbook, and lived in the Mansion while it was still a dorm.
She currently works as a Wellness Account Manager at Evolent Health in Arlington, Va. Previously, Donna worked as a Senior Account Manager at United Healthcare and an Account Manager at United Behavioral Health.
Donna is highly involved as an alumna of Cabrini College and supports her alma mater through generous gifts to the Cabrini Annual Fund. With her busy schedule, she has been 1989’s Class Representative since graduation and still finds time to attend many alumni events, which include Team Trivia Night and Alumni Weekend.
This year, Donna joined the National Association of Professional Women. She also advocates for a child's right to live in a loving, safe, permanent home, especially in foster/adoption and child custody situations.
Donna grew up in Our Lady of Fatima Parish and graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School. She met her husband Steven at Cabrini, even before freshman year began. They live in Damascus, Md., with their two dogs, Enzo and Ruby.

Fran Pedano ’90Fran graduated from Cabrini with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and minor in Business Administration in 1990. He currently owns a medical billing company and serves as a Revenue Cycle Management consultant for major companies. During his time at Cabrini, Fran worked at his father’s doctor’s office, mainly doing the billing, collections and IT, which lead to him to open his own business. He also served as the manager of the Cabrini women’s softball team. Fran is originally from Merion Station, Pa., and is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Prep. He is active in his home parish and the Knights of Columbus. Fran lives with his wife Mary Kate, and their three children in Mays Landing, N.J. Sharlene George ’92 Sharlene graduated from Cabrini College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication. She is currently a writer and editor at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute. Previously, Sharlene worked as an editor at Merion Publications and as the city and business editor at the Daily Local News. Sharlene began her writing career right here on campus as a staff writer for Cabrini’s award-winning newspaper, The Loquitur. As an alumna, she returns often to visit the Communication Department at events like the Loquitur Anniversary Event, the Communication Department Reception, and to help students in their Professional Development courses. In 2008, Sharlene was awarded the Silver, Best Signed Editorial Award from the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors. Sharlene currently resides in Oreland, Pa. Joe Orsatti ’92 Joe graduated with a BS in Business Administration in 1992. He currently owns Pie in the Sky Pizzeria on Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, Pa.
Before opening Pie in the Sky, he worked as the vice president of Securitized Portfolio Management at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage for 18 years. He later earned the position of vice president, Service Bureau Operations at InterpIX Technologies for two years. Joe has many family members who also graduated from Cabrini, including his wife, Jayda Orsatti ’92, his sister, Linda Zazyczny ’89, and his brother-in-law, Joel Zazyczny ’89. Joe currently lives with his wife and three children in Phoenixville, Pa. Danielle Harris Lacasale ’94 Danielle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Danielle also holds a master’s in special education, a master’s in supervision, an educational specialist degree in administration, and has doctoral credits in curriculum development.
She is certified as a teacher, supervisor and principal. Danielle began her career as a second grade teacher, before advancing to director of special education and an elementary school principal. Danielle has experience in the corporate world, as a teacher trainer with McGraw Hill Publishing and Harcourt Houghton Mifflin. As a Cabrini student, Danielle volunteered with Campus Ministry and served on committees that helped to plan the dedication of the Peace Pole for Sr. Eileen Currie, the Inauguration of President Antoinette Iadarola, and the first Cabrini Spirit Day.
In addition, Danielle served as the President of Kappa Sigma Omega and received the Charles A. Mastronardi Award for Service and Leadership. Danielle is the mother of five children, including quadruplets. Danielle is currently teaching multiply disabled second-, third-, and fourth-grade students. She volunteers in her local parish as a Eucharistic Minister.
Danielle also participates in area walks to support charitable organizations, such as National Alliance for Mental Illness and the March of Dimes. Danielle and her family are the poster family for the NICU unit at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Jersey.
Danielle resides in South Plainfield, N.J., with her husband, grandmother, and five children.

Jonathan J. Zeminski ’04, CFP Jon graduated from Cabrini in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University. He is currently employed at Univest Bank and Trust Co. as a vice president and senior financial advisor. Previously, Jon was employed at Wells Fargo Bank as an assistant vice president - regional bank private banker. Jon is highly involved within the Cabrini College Alumni Association and supports his alma mater through annual gifts to the College. Jon and his wife, Bernadette, who is also an alumna, are regulars at the annual Sweetheart Dance. Jon also has attended Cabrini Uncorked and Young Alumni Happy Hours, served as an Alumni Mentor, and helped at the Career Connections dinner this fall. Jon is active in his community, serving on the Emerging Leaders Committee as part of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry. He also serves on the Ambassador Committee as part of the West Chester Chamber of Commerce. Jon and his wife Bernadette reside in West Chester, Pa. Vincent Prestileo ’04 As an undergraduate, Vincent Prestileo Jr. served as president of the College’s Finance Association. After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2004, Vincent parlayed his experience at Cabrini into impressive real-world success. With his first foray into the field, Vincent was named top producing “Rookie Realtor” at Russo Real Estate.
In 2006, Vincent joined RE/MAX Hometown as a member of the John McFadden Team, which consistently remains a top-producing group within the Tristate area. At RE/MAX, Vincent’s clients range from first-time home buyers to retirees looking to downsize their family homes.
His work has paid off, with more than 200 transactions totaling over $40,000,000 in sales volume so far and is consistently recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as a Five Star real estate agent.
Since 2008, Vincent has been a partner in West Haven Investments, a company that invests in neighborhoods through the renovation of homes. He also dedicates his time to the Young Professional Network, the local sub-chapter of the National Association of REALTORS®.
Vincent has remained active in the Cabrini community since graduating. This year, he will complete his term as member of the College's Board of Trustees. He is also very involved with other alumni activities as a member of the Alumni Board.
He has also remained involved in aspects of campus life with current students, speaking to undergraduates about his career paths following graduation. His work at the College was honored when he received the Young Alumni Award in 2010.
Vincent resides in Aston, Pa, (Upper Chichester Twp) with his wife, Heather, and their daughter, Brielle.
Claudia Sciandra Peirce ’06, CPA, CFE Claudia graduated with honors from Cabrini in 2006. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance. She is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Finance through Saint Joseph’s University.
While at Cabrini she served as an RA, Student Ambassador, Student Government Treasurer and received the Pierce Scholar Award for connecting our athletic teams with charitable organizations. Claudia is part of a legacy family; her mother Kathleen Davis Sciandra graduated in 1972. She currently works as an internal audit manager at the UGI Corp/ AmeriGas in King of Prussia, Pa. She was previously employed by Ernst & Young LLP. Claudia supports her alma mater as a consistent donor to the Cabrini Annual Fund. She has attended numerous events in the past including Alumni Weekend and the Martha Dale Event, and she speaks in Dr. Mary Harris’s and Ann Survey’s class each year on career experience. Outside of Cabrini she is involved in her local Homeowner’s Association as the president and former treasurer. She stays active as a member of the King of Prussia adult women’s soccer league. Claudia resides in Phoenixville, Pa., with her husband, John J. Pierce III, and their daughter, Olivia. Kristi Harmon ’07 Kristi graduated from Cabrini in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. She currently works as a human resources generalist at Rumsey Electric Company in Conshohocken, where she was honored as a Professional in Human Resources.
During her academic career here at Cabrini, Kristi worked as a Resident Assistant. She was also awarded Dean’s List honors each semester, which is a total of eight semesters!
As an alumna, Kristi has attended events like Breakfast with the Bunny, Cabrini Night at the Phillies, Christmas at Cabrini, the Sweetheart Dance, and the Young Alumni Happy Hour.
Kristi resides in King of Prussia, Pa., with her husband and Cabrini alumnus, Will Harmon ’05, and their two children, Grace and George.
Fiona Bride ’07
Fiona graduated from Cabrini in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. She currently works as a legal assistant in Gillette, N.J. Fiona continues to support her alma mater as a consistent donor to the Cabrini Annual Fund. She has attended numerous alumni events on campus, which include Daring to Dream-The Iadarola Legacy, Alumni Weekend 2012, and the New York City Alumni Reception.

Jake Verterano ’10 Jake graduated from Cabrini in 2010 with a BA in English and Communication. During his time at Cabrini, he was involved with the launch of “Loqation” and served as the first ever anchor and editor for Cabrini’s online news show. He served as a staff writer and then editor for Cabrini's award-winning newspaper, The Loquitur.
His senior year, he led his convergence class as the project manager in their creation of a website about domestic violence awareness. They were awarded the 2010 Silver Davey Award for this project.
He was active with WYBF Cabrini Radio, served as senior class vice president and on the Class Gift Committee. He also participated in the theater program. Jake currently works as a multimedia specialist for B&B Medical Marketing. During his free time, he is a video, audio, and writing reporter for the website Diva Dirt. He has worked as a project manager on the award-winning project for “Children as Witness” an educational domestic violence website. Jake is active in the Cabrini Alumni Association. He has served as a member of our Young Alumni committee and attended our young alumni events.
Outside of Cabrini, he is involved in numerous volunteer activities, including: Fundraising for the National Ovarian Cancer Society, Modeling for the 2014 'Homes for Hounds Hunks' calendar with proceeds benefiting the Philadelphia ASPCA, and volunteering at Cabrini’s Relay for Life. Jake resides in King of Prussia, Pa.
Shannon Keough ’10 Shannon graduated from Cabrini College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication, and minor in Spanish. After graduation, she spent a year serving as an Augustinian Volunteer at Merrimack College (North Andover, Mass.) where she led weekly and week-long service programs for students. This was a continuation of many activities she participated in as an undergraduate student.
While at Cabrini, she held leadership positions in the Wolfington Center and Campus Ministry Office as CRS Ambassador president, justice minister, and participated in Rostro de Cristo and Appalachia immersion experiences. She also was very engaged in the Communication Department as a copy editor, web editor, and staff writer for The Loquitur.
Additionally, she created videos on a variety of social justice topics, including the senior convergence project on domestic violence. Throughout her college career, she received the Charles A. Mastronardi Award for her dedication to service, the Denise Edwards Memorial Scholarship, Social Justice Leadership Award, and Who's Who Among College Students.
She also was a member of the Society of Collegiate Journalists, Delta Epsilon Sigma national honor society, and Phi Sigma Iota foreign language honor society.
Shannon resides in Philadelphia, Pa., and works as the assistant director of Augustinian volunteers in Villanova, Pa.
In her position, she coordinates year-long young-adult volunteers both domestically and abroad, and manages all communication and alumni relations efforts for the organization. She stays connected to Cabrini College by speaking with current students about long-term service opportunities and life after graduation.
Danielle Alio ’12 Danielle graduated from Cabrini College as the class Valedictorian with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in graphic design. She currently works in the Office of Communications at Princeton University as a multimedia specialist, where she produces multimedia content for the University homepage.
She was recently accepted into the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism part-time program beginning in May 2014.
Danielle has donated to the Senior Class Gift in 2012 and has participated in numerous alumni events including Team Trivia, Young Alumni Happy Hours, the Cabrini Radio Anniversary, and the Cabrini 5K race. She has a sister who is also a Cabrini graduate from the Class of 2013.
As a student, Danielle was a member of the Cabrini College Chorus and performed in various productions in the Cabrini Theater. She also held leadership roles in her department such as Producer and Managing Editor of LOQation and The Loquitur, as well as production director for WYBF FM.
Additional honors and awards include a National Media award for a project on the Arab Spring, the 2011 Philly's Future Scholarship Award from the Philadelphia Advertising Club, the Comcast Cable Communication Scholarship for academic year 2011-12, the 2011 Maryknoll Explore My Mission award (two week mission trip to Asia in July 2011), and a 2011 Silver Davey Award for audio documentary, “United World of Sports.”
She also received the Communications Department award upon graduation. She resides in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Frank Muller G’11 Frank graduated from Cabrini in 2011 with a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. Prior to his studies at Cabrini, he obtained an undergraduate degree from Temple University. Frank currently works as an assistant manager, senior vice president of Sun National Bank. He has substantial experience in executive management and commercial real estate valuation. He has been involved with Cabrini as part of the graduate committee and past Dean search committees. He is also active at Temple University serving as the treasurer of the Executive Board for the Fox School of Business Alumni Association.
He has mentored Temple students and served as a preliminary judge and mentor in the “Be Your Own Boss” business plan competition sponsored by Temple University. Outside of higher education, he is a member of the Philadelphia Leadership Council and American Red Cross. He is also a practicing affiliate member of the Appraisal Institute. Frank resides in Collegeville, Pa. Diana Sucher ’01, G’09 Diana graduated from Cabrini in 2001 with Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication. She later returned to the College to earn a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership in 2009.
She currently works as the operations manager at Joseph E. Sucher & Sons where she has been for over four years. Previously Diana worked as a human resources specialist at AlliedBarton Security Services. She also worked as a staffing consultant at Acsys Inc. where she was recognized as a Top Staffing Consultant.
Diana has attended many events as an alumna, including Alumni Weekend, the Communication Department Reception, Daring to Dream-The Iadarola Legacy, Alumni Volunteer Workshop, Cabrini Night at the Phillies, and the Leader Lecture Series.
Diana is also very active in her community, serving as a member of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, the Suburban Contractors Association, and the Associated Builders and Contractors of Eastern Pennsylvania. Diana lives in Media, Pa.
Liz Kanaras-Cade ’83, G’12 Liz graduated from Cabrini College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication. She currently works as a Hospital & University Contract Manager at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Previously, she worked as a Contract & Strategic Sourcing Manager at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Liz is very active in her community. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Joy of Sox organization, which helps to provide homeless people in the Philadelphia area with socks. She also volunteers for the Tackling Breast Cancer campaign to benefit the Jefferson Breast Care Center. Liz is highly involved as an alumna of Cabrini College and supports her alma mater through generous gifts to the Cabrini Annual Fund. Liz has served on the Alumni Board and volunteers for the Alumni Association Spirit Committee and the Cabrini College Habitat for Humanity Carriage Stone House Project.
Even with her busy schedule, Liz finds time to attend various events on campus, which includes the Volunteer Appreciation Reception, The Mansion Gala, The Martha Dale Life Celebration, and the Cabrini Classic. In 2012, Liz was awarded the Martha Dale Distinguished Service Award. In that same year, upon her graduation with a Master of Science in Organization Leadership, she was inducted into the Kappa Gamma Pi National Catholic College Graduate Honor Society. Liz resides in Drexel Hill, Pa.
