Cabrini's program at the University of Notre Dame, Australia (UNDA), began in the spring semester of 2005, when nine Cabrini students embarked on a study abroad adventure which would lead them to one of Australia's most exciting and innovative universities.
Notre Dame, founded in 1989, is a relatively new Australian private Catholic University committed to ensuring that its students receive a personalized, high-quality education. With a beautiful campus on the Western coast of Australia, Cabrini's Australian affiliate offers a caring and friendly learning environment, providing challenging and relevant courses that are responsive to student needs within a variety of majors.
Notre Dame Australia is located in the vibrant port city of Fremantle. In a style that is typical of the older university towns of Europe, the campus is located in the very heart of the city. Students walking to class can enjoy the historic streetscape and feel connected to the local Fremantle community.
Shops, markets, beaches, sporting facilities, museums, and galleries are all within walking distance of the campus. In addition, an efficient rail service connects Fremantle with Perth, the capital of Western Australia, in just thirty minutes.
