“The students from the Cabrini College Honors Program are a dynamic and academically conscientious community of women and men who aspire to be tomorrow’s leaders – not followers – in whatever field or discipline they choose to pursue. The faculty works with the Honors students in distinctive courses, as well as independently, to achieve these leadership goals, mentoring them to become public intellectuals and lifelong learners. The College offers the Honors students a variety of academic, social, and cultural opportunities to grow as moral, intelligent, well-rounded human beings.“
Dr. Leonard Primiano, Co-Director of the Honors Program
"The life of the mind is not to be understood as a mere option; it is a vocation and a civic responsibility."
Dr. Paul Wright, Co-Director of the Honors Program
The Cabrini College Honors Program is dedicated to honing students' critical-thinking skills, developing creative and imaginative impulses, and pushing them to expand their intellectual horizons.
The Honors Program takes an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to learning that is distinctively different from most other college courses. The program strives to model life-long learning, giving students the tools they need to succeed in an academic setting and in the after-college world.
