With what subjects can peer tutors assist?
Tutors are available in all subject areas. See our online tutoring schedule or visit the Center for Teaching & Learning in the Iadarola Center, Room 109.
If you do not see what you are looking for, please contact us at peertutoring@cabrini.edu.
When are tutors available?
Check our tutors’ schedules or contact us at peertutoring@cabrini.edu or 610‑902‑8573.
I have an assignment due in an hour! Can I just go find the tutor?
We recommend you see a tutor in advance of your test or assignment due date.
Where do I find my peer tutor?
Unless stated otherwise, peer tutors will meet you in the Center for Teaching and Learning, located in the Iadarola Center computer lab, Room 109.
Is the appointment free?
All Peer Tutoring Program appointments are free of charge to Cabrini students.
What should I bring with me?
For all appointments, bring your assignment, notes and any pertinent handouts—preferably hard copies—and texts. Also, please bring your student ID.
I am terrible with accounting. Can the tutor get me my answers and get me out of there?
No. While tutors will get you to the answer, they will not get you the answer. Our tutors will provide you with skills instead of answers.
Can I use the CTL computer lab to complete my work afterwards?
The computer lab is yours to use! As part of the Center for Teaching & Learning, we welcome students to stay and work with us as long as we are open.
I am told that I am a super student. Can I become a tutor?
We are always looking for new tutors. Visit the Center for Teaching & Learning to fill out an application. You’ll also need to get a teacher recommendation and undergo training.
