The Cabrini College Externship Program—or job shadowing—provides students with a brief, observation-oriented experience (typically from one to five days) in an employment setting related to their educational and career goals.
Benefits to Students
Time Commitment The externship time commitment is from one to five days.
Each experience will vary depending on sponsor/host availability.
The externship will typically take place during a student’s school break (Easter, Thanksgiving, spring break, winter break), or may be a more informal experience involving a job shadowing day scheduled with the host organization during the regular school term.
Externships are unpaid and do not earn academic credit.
