Phi Alpha
Social Work majors who meet the criteria are invited to join Kappa Upsilon, Cabrini's chapter of Phi Alpha, a national honor society established to provide a closer bond among social work students and promote humanitarian goals and ideas.
Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have declared social work as their major, achieved sophomore status, completed eight semester hours of social work courses, attained a QPA of 3.0 and a 3.25 in social work courses.

Social Work Club
Cabrini's Social Work Club is open to all social work majors. This campus group organizes activities and events for community service, fundraising and the social work department. Social work students have organized a volunteer program with Family House in Norristown, a drug addiction treatment center.
Students also have created a mentoring program, where new social work majors can learn from a student who has been a social work major for at least one academic year. This mentoring program enhances student communication, sharing of information and experiences and support.
